1. The Teacher Became a Protector
In a small town near Kharkiv, schoolteacher Natalia Ivanenko suddenly had to start a new job: making sure her community was safe. As Russian tanks approached, Natalia and her friends made a safe space in the school basement. Over 50 children and their families found safety there.
