The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for 1,017 days, and it is still going strong. Recent events have brought to light the ongoing destruction, changing military strategies, and major foreign effects of this long war. Here is a complete list of the most recent changes.
Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih are in terrible shape
On December 6, a Russian bomb hit the city of Zaporizhzhia in southern Ukraine. At least 10 people were killed and 24 were hurt. A car garage and a gas station caught fire because of the attack, which caused a lot of damage and grief. The governor of the area, Ivan Fedorov, called the event “another tragic chapter in the city’s fight against Russia’s aggression.”
At least two people were killed in another Russian attack in Kryvyi Rih, which is where President Volodymyr Zelenskyy grew up. Even though the world is condemning Moscow’s military operation more and more, these strikes show how relentless it is.
