They were at war in 2014, and things got worse in 2022. It’s now one of the most important events in western Europe’s history. It will change the EU’s government, business, and society in big ways. It affects a lot more than just these two places. Europe is changing since the war is still going on. The paper talks about the problem’s victims, safety rules, and how markets and energy work.

New Era in the Safety of Europe
There are different ideas in Europe about what is safe now that Russia and Ukraine are at war. One of the most clear and important effects is this one. People in Europe used to think they were safe enough that they didn’t always need strong security. The truth of this lie was shown when Russia struck Ukraine. This caused a lot of changes to Europe’s plans for defense.

NATO was once seen as a “relic of the Cold War,” but it’s stronger than ever now. Member states have spent more on security in the past, and some have even gone so far as to spend even more. Finnish and Swedish people have never been against Russia, but they have tried to join NATO. It shows how scared people are for their safety.

In the past few years, many Eastern European countries have made their borders stronger and sent more troops to watch them. But this is especially true for places close to Russia and Ukraine. We can now feel safe in Europe thanks to Poland, Estonia, and Latvia…
